Mobile phone radiation is bad for your body, and the more we learn about the effect it has, the more it becomes clear that the harm is wide reaching. Not many people would have guessed that one of the most dramatic and worrying effects of mobile phone radiation is the impact it has on a man's sperm count.
The science on this point is now too compelling for anyone to question, with numerous studies showing that prolonged exposure to mobile phone radiation reduces the amount of sperm a man produces, often by an alarming figure of 10-20%. If this sounds like an acceptable risk to your fertility, bear in mind that for a substantial number of men it is more than enough to tip the balance against being able to father a child.
The problem is exacerbated by the fact that so many men carry their mobile in their trouser pocket, or on a belt clip around the waist. This puts it directly in range of their testicles. Not that moving it further away would necessarily remove the risk completely, because no one yet knows how far away a mobile phone needs to be before it is safe.
At a time when sperm counts are falling year by year, it is rather surprising to learn that such a commonly used device is at least in part responsible for this decline, yet little is being done about remedying the situation. Take responsibility for your own health and fertility, and take steps to protect yourself.
